Thursday, August 19, 2010

A massive egg recall was voluntarily called by Wright County Eggs of Calk, Iowa due to an outbreak of salmonella found on the eggs shells. Currently, the FDA is in an ongoing investigation of the plants where the recalled eggs came from.

At first only 228 million eggs were recalled. Today, the list expanded to 380 million eggs being recalled.
