A massive egg recall was voluntarily called by Wright County Eggs of Calk, Iowa due to an outbreak of salmonella found on the eggs shells. Currently, the FDA is in an ongoing investigation of the plants where the recalled eggs came from.
At first only 228 million eggs were recalled. Today, the list expanded to 380 million eggs being recalled.

If you like peach cobbler you are going to love the recipe that I'm linking to below. It gives you a recipe for a quick peach cobbler that is done in about 30 minutes and costs about $10 to make. You can't beat that for a peach cobbler that everyone in the house will love. The only down side is that if you make it, it probably won't last long!

What is a Fluffernutter?
It was brought to my attention recently that not everyone knows what a Fluffernutter is. I guess some people lead very sheltered lives!
If you grew up in New England, you know exactly what I'm talking about. When I was a kid, we didn't have PB&J, we had Fluffernutter sandwiches, made with peanut butter and Marshmallow Fluff.

Oil-Delayed Shrimping Season
The massive BP oil spill has causes complications for animals above the water and the creatures below the water. The oil in the shrimping waters is causing a very big impact on the livelihood of the people who shrimp for a living. On a good night for shrimping, 1,000- 1500 pounds of shrimp could be caught and subsequently sold at $3 a pound. This is not the case any longer.
